The first game we should mention is Call of Duty: Black Ops. This game came out last year and broke all sorts of records. The game sold thousands of copies throughout the first day of release. People were lining up all-around the block in countless stores worldwide to purchase this game. Well, it was absolutely worthwhile. This game tops every other game in the series and probably every other game on consoles in the graphics division. It has such great detailed graphics that one can see the expressions of every characters. Additionally, the character development goes much further than previous versions of the game. In general, the great story, multiplayer mode and graphics causes this game well worth a buy.
The second game we want to mention is Doom 3. Although this game is a little bit older, it must be discussed. This game was released a few years ago. It brought back the old scary and puzzling edge-of-your-seat action back into the 1st person shooter genre. You go around most of the game with a flashlight in one hand and a gun in the other. As you turn around in the darkness you are always aware that at any minute a toxic monster may walk out from behind the wall and try to take your life. The suspense, graphics and overall great tale also makes this game an oldie but still a goodie.
