Finding One Pink Shaded Microwave Oven
Looking to buy a pink microwave might sound silly to some people, but I don't agree. When I saw an image of one, I realized I had to have one. Thus began the journey to finding a working microwave. This is not simple, however, having one in my impressive classic kitchen makes it completely justified!
It is very appealing in today's world you can obtain microwaves in wide ranges of color. You can be just a little different, and purchase a black microwave, or you can go all out and get a blue microwave. Or, probably, you are retro-girly like me and you want a pink microwave.
Based on your style and tastes, and budget, you may want to start searching for a second hand microwave. They are in fact easier to find than a brand new one. The ones in the store usually be limited version and sell out quickly. If you look at a site such as craigslist or ebay, you may be able to find some used one which are still working well.
Take your time when looking for these. You don't always want to acquire the first one you find (except, of course, the first one you find is perfect!). Pink microwaves can be found in many different tints of pink and in a lot of different models. A neon pink microwave in 80's choice will look much different in your kitchen than a pastel-y pink in a 50-60's style would. When checking out these microwaves, be sure they will turn out well in your kitchen and satisfy your personal preference.
This is not something that I would go DIY with (and I love DIY!). If you do not find a pink microwave that you like and you want to color one that you own. Please stop and think beforehand. A microwave gets hot and emits radiation. If the paint responds badly to the heat and/or radiation, then you may possibly have a sudden, bad fire. You do not want this!
If you happen to be looking for a microwave, just have a look around and see what types of cool colors you can find. A blue or pink microwave will often be cooler than a black one.
