Pillow Top Mattress Shopping Experience
After 15 years of marriage, I finally convinced my husband who turning the mattress every three months were not helping anymore, and he agreed to purchasing a new one. As it had been years, since I shopped for a top mattress store, I was a bit over-whelmed. I was bombarded by the newest mattress crazes.
There were adjustable beds and spring mattresses and foam mattresses and some even made from space-aged materials! And all those mattresses guarantee the ultimate in comfort. After comparisons on pricing with other types of mattresses with and without a mattress pad I decided that a pillow-top mattress and mattress pad were best for me.
So I began my search, at first with web furniture and mattress merchants to find the best buy for my budget. To my surprise, I found that four local stores carried the pillow-top mattress in stock ready for immediate delivery. Therefore without delay I hopped in my vehicle and headed out for an afternoon of shopping, an outing I was sure to enjoy.
The first location I went to have all sorts of mattress pads, pillow top mattresses and top of the line brand names. Unfortunately, the prices were a little out of my reach, thus I directed to my second destination, a local department store. True they had the selection for top mattress types, but not the size.
You see my husband is a bear of a man and we both require a king sized bed for our comfort. So off to location three. This was a more up-scale shop and I actually did not think it would offer the pillow top mattress I wanted in my price range. I was not disappointed with my speculation as it was ridiculously over-priced!
Well, that left one, and as they say "save best for last". I totally expected to end up buying my mattress and mattress pad at the liquidation store in a neighboring town ironically called "Top Mattress". And alas there it was the size, price and comfort of "my" pillow top mattress, and they offered me a deal on the mattress pad besides throwing in free delivery. Not just did they deliver, but they did a full setup and took away my old mattress and mattress pad to save me the inconvenience of finding a disposal method.
